Compass Heating and Air Conditioning is hiring an experienced HVAC service technician. We are a fast-growing, veteran-owned company in East Dundee, and we are not private equity. What you will do

You will service a variety of residential and light commercial equipment across East Dundee, IL and the surrounding northwest and western suburbs.

  • Clean and check furnaces, air conditioners and humidifiers
  • Make repair and replacement recommendations, including energy-efficient upgrades
  • Answer customer questions and provide great service
  • Submit invoices and payments electronically
  • Coordinate with the office on dispatching and follow-up appointments
  • Take part in a rotating on-call schedule

What you need

  • At least 1 year of HVAC experience
  • EPA Universal Certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Willingness to complete a background check and drug test

A plus: trade school certification and ServiceTitan experience. Military experience is welcome, and we encourage veterans to apply.

You should be able to communicate well with customers, pay attention to detail, solve problems, ask questions when you need to, and work independently.
